"2017 Famous for the 4th"
PIE AUCTION RESULTS

Once again the Citizen's Bank Pie Contest followed by the World Record Pie Auction was a TREMENDOUS SUCCESS!  Raising in EXCESS of $20,000 for 40 pies proved WHY we are "FAMOUS FOR THE 4TH" in Rich Hill.

First Place pie was a Kalua Coffee Cheescake Pie baked by a resident of Hamilton, Missouri and brought $3,000.  The pie bidding was originally a battle between two individual bidders  who plateaued at a $1,400 bid.  The two each brought on additional resources in the way of more bidders to battle to the successful bid.  The annual auction has grown from a beginning where the highest price for a pie was $400.  It was followed the next year by a $700 price, then the following year an $1,100 pie, then another year brought a $1,700 pie.  At that point the decision was made to go for a Guinness World Record in 2012.  That year a WORLD RECORD for the "Highest Price Paid for a Pie at Auction" was set at $3,100 by Jerry Mumma, Sr.

Thanks to ALL who bake, bid, and buy pies!

Again, totals hover around $30,000 with the final tally not yet completed!

Thanks again for allowing us to be the lead auctioneer for this outstanding Christian facility's primary fundraiser.

BATES COUNTY CHAPTER of

As our first time conducting the auction for this chapter of avid outdoorsmen, we weren't sure of their previous results.   But, by the end of the evening we helped them achieve their MOST SUCCESSFUL
fundraising results TO DATE!

A framed print brought $900, commemorative handgun hit $1,000, and many more items ran in the hundreds of dollars range!

PAPINVILLE PICNIC/AUCTION

This community (east of Rich Hill) celebrates their community history each year with a great feed, music, tours of the museum, the historic bridge and town, and an auction.  This year we were invited to conduct their auction for the first time and became a part of an auction that was an overwhelming SUCCESS!  The auction raised over DOUBLE their normal amount
(a NEW RECORD for their celebration)!

Lots of FUN, and an "automatic" invitation back, to conduct their auction in 2015!

_____________

HUME METHODIST CHURCH
BBQ & AUCTION

Once again, our first time to conduct this auction, but after enjoying a TREMENDOUS meal of great smoked meat and all the sides, we helped them raise several hundred dollars to be used for their Church
and its youth!

El Dorado Christian School
Annual Chili Supper & Auction

another "RECORD"!

Yes, it sounds like "old news" but once again total dollars raised for the worthy event exceeded ALL previous year totals!  The evening began with a very good turnout for the delicious chili/potato soup dinner and continued on with incredible support by the attendees in strong bidding for a big variety of items being sold.  This annual event is crucial to the continued survival of the private Christian school and the quality education it provides.

Colonel Larry Hacker, lead auctioneer, called the auction with assistance from Colonel Shannon Mays, Colonel Kent Bland, and a staff of volunteers serving as ringmen, clerks, and cashiers.  This year's event EXCEEDED all previous totals raising nearly $35,000 for the school's operation.  Once again proving ...
"The RIGHT company ... The RIGHT RESULTS!"

THANK YOU for your support from El Dorado Christian School and Larry Hacker Auctioneers!

KERN SENIOR CENTER
PIE AUCTION/FUNDRAISER
An evening with 44 pies to be auctioned and a "lighter" than normal attendance made it appear that last year's total of $2,280 would be hard to achieve, but when the final tally was in, it was another SUCCESSFUL AUCTION with a RECORD TOTAL of $3600 raised for the center!!!!
